Like Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS), Targeted Nerve Stimulation (TNS) is minimally invasive and performed on an out-patient basis.

After a successful five to seven day trial of stimulation, to demonstrate significant pain relief can be achieved, an implanted system can provide long-term pain relief.

The trial and the implantation of the system are all performed without staying in the hospital, and general anesthesia is unnecessary.
